We watched the fireworks in Sammamish WA. It was quite a spectacular show the city put on, called Fourth on the Plateau. Here are some of the better shots.
Thanks to dps for the tips on how to photograph fireworks. All of those shots were taken with my 16-35mm wide angle lens, the tripod, mostly at ISO 100, and either f/11 or f/22, with the camera set to bulb mode and operated via remote control. I controlled each sequence by opening and closing the shutter manually with the camera set to 'bulb' mode and using the remote release, resulting in exposures anywhere between 2-8s.
